The 2nd Commandment: You Shall Not Make Graven Images...enjoins us against creating likenesses of any living creature in the heavens, on the earth or beneath the waters of the earth. The commandment has been willfully misinterpreted over the centuries to stifle artistic creativity, when in truth, it wishes for us not to create 2 or 3 dimensional objects in the likeness of living creatures for the purpose of worship.
