Ilene Winn-Lederer attended the Art Institute of Chicago and The Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. She has lived and worked in Chicago and Los Angeles and is now based in Pittsburgh. A member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, Ilene"s clients have included The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Hadassah, NY., Lilith Magazine, Children’s Television Workshop, Sony, Scholastic, The Progressive Magazine, Charlesbridge Publishers, Pomegranate Communications, Inc., Simon & Schuster and Cricket Magazine. She is the author and illustrator of Between Heaven & Earth: An Illuminated Torah Commentary published by Pomegranate in 2009 and distributed worldwide. In 2009, Ilene created the imprint Imaginarius Editions and has published five books to date: The Alchymical Zoodiac: A Celestial Bestiary (2009), Stitchburgh (2010) and The Little Sheep Who Couldn’t Sleep (2011). In 2014, Ilene published An Illumination Of Blessings under the auspices of Project Kickstarter and in July of 2015, Notes From London: Above & Below.
