In a moment of fanciful musing following a visit to an exhibition of Rembrandt's etchings and lithographs, I wondered whether the painter had owned a cat, as many artists do. If so, I surmised, the cat would have to be nearly as extraordinary as his masters' work...'Rembrandt's Cat, Or Puss In Klompen' is one of a series of ten drawings in the Eclectic Elementals genre created in 2003 for my solo exhibition, 'Visual Alchymy' at The Gallery In The Square, Pittsburgh.
