Description:	Guardgoyle is a study in the concept of transmogrification whereby a view of reality is overlaid with an alternate imaginary reality. When I saw this tiny guard smiling snarkily at London's National Gallery as she sat beneath a gilded medieval icon, I wondered whether she could be a gargoyle in disguise?
